Dorsal (top) base color reddish-brown, on two specimen's dorsal pattern are identical, males have two blue spots n their bellies
The Texas Spiny lizard does not have a dewlap

Texas Spiny lizards are arboreal, commonly found in trees, bushes, fences and on the side of buildings
Range of habitat:
Texas Spiny Lizards can be found in the United States from Oklahoma to Mexico and most of Texas
