The Eastern Worm Snakes live in damp hilly woodlands and in farmland that borders woodland. Also, they live on partially wooded or grassy hillsides above streams

Eastern Worm Snakes are found Woodlands region of North America. The species' range extends from southwest Massachusetts, south to southern Alabama, west to Louisiana and north to Illinois.
