Small, Primarily Green or brown lizard with light spots around its eyes with a white underside
How to identify:
Coloration:
The lizard has the ability to change its dorsal (top) color from dark brown to light green
The dorsal (top) side of this lizard has an irregular brown or white stripe running the length of the body
Males have a pink or red dewlap whereas females have a light pink throat

Green Anoles can grow to be 5-8in long including the tail some have been found by herpetologist, Quentin Stiles, that measured up to a whopping 15in
Habitat:
Green Anoles are arboreal, commonly found in trees, bushes, fences and on the side of buildings
Range of habitat:
Green Anoles can be found in the Southeastern United States from southern Virginia to the Florida Keys and west to Central Texas and Oklahoma.
