Habitat:
he habitat of Gulf Coast Toad varies widely from coastal prairies and barrier beaches along the Gulf of Mexico to roadside and irrigation ditches to urban/suburban sewers and backyard gardens.
Range of habitat:
In Texas,Gulf Coast Toad is found in central and south Texas, along with the southern portion of east Texas.
Orange counties indicate new records since previous Herps of Texas updated in 1998; all other colors represent counties with known Gulf Coast Toad population prior to 1998
